A Legislative update and issues impacting businesses were presented to Auburn leaders Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 2 at Auburn City Hall.
District 1 Sen. Bob Hallstrom of Syracuse indicated most attention at the Unicameral focuses on the budget, property tax relief and social issues. As a result, other issues often do not get consideration, he continued.
Because of the budget shortfall, the state senators did not look at property tax reform, Hallstrom stated.
