Off-Leash Dog Park Lease Agreement Approved By Auburn City Council

During the Oct. 10 meeting, Auburn City Council approved a dog park proposed to be created and managed by the city north of Longs Creek Village assisted living facility at 418“Q” Street. The council approved an off-leash dog park lease agreement between the City of Auburn and the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society— Auburn. The 10-year lease involves the north 280 feet of Lot One of the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Addition to the City of Auburn. It stipulates that the lessee (city) will keep the premises in clean condition, in good order and thoroughly maintained as a public area for public outdoor recreational use as an off-leash dog park and compatible uses.
