ELVERA W. HIETBRINK

1933-2023

Elvera Wilhelmine Emma (Oestmann) Hletbrink was born July 21, 1933, in Auburn, Nebraska. She was the second child born to Alvin and Della (Gobber) Oestmann. She was baptized August 13, 1933, and confirmed December 1, 1946, at Martin Luther Lutheran church in Rural Johnson, Nebraska.

Elvera was united in marriage to Ray Roland Hietbrink May 5, 1955, at St. Johns Lutheran church in Sacramento, California. Ray and Elvera started their married life living in Sacramento where the two oldest daughters were born. Ray’s job transferred the family to Aurora Colorado where the three younger girls were born. They moved to Nebraska around 1967 and found their forever home in Papillion, Nebraska.

Elvera was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Della Oestmann, her husband, Ray Hietbrink, three brothers, Melvin Oestmann, Paul LaVern Oestmann, and Henry Oestmann, and one infant sister.

Those left to carry on her legacy: Her five daughters; Renae Rae Kelly and husband, David, Kim Elaine Tarr and husband Jack, Denise Lynn Kaup and husband Tim, Sandra Ann Thompson and husband OJ, Sheryl D Clear and husband Keith. Fourteen Grandchildren; Jack Tarr Ill & wife Stacey, Kristin Flood & husband Rob , Jerett Kelly & wife Charissa, Jenny Wagner& husband Josh, Kendra Kortus & husband Chris, Erik Clear & husband Austin, Tanya Swenson & husband Joey, Stacey Parr & husband Glenn, Jacob Thompson, Tasha Saathoff & partner Isaac Mitchell, Aubrey Waltz & husband Ian, Jon Saathoff, Ian Clear & wife Hailey, Ben Saathoff. Nineteen Great grandchildren; Brayden Ballard, Cameron Ballard, Jack Tarr IV, Jordan Wagner, Addyson Tarr, Kegan Swenson, Trevor Kelly, Jarren Wagner, Adam Kortus, Owen Kelly, Brooklynn Kortus, Maia Parr, Jakoby Wagner, lnara Parr, Delaney Parr, Patrick Swenson, Hailey Kortus, Glenndon Parr.

The service was Saturday, Dec. 2 at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary at Papillion. Interment was at Cedar Dale Cemetery.

Kahler-Dolce Mortuary, Papillion, was in charge of arrangements.
