Bulldog Girls Lose 23-50 to Malcolm in Opener

The Auburn Bulldogs opened the 2016-2017 basketball season with a 23-50 loss at Malcolm Saturday, Dec. 3.
Allie Binder scored 11 points in leading Auburn. Addie Gyhra and Ashley Teten each scored 3. Sydney Golladay, Mollie Grant and Sydnie Reeves added 2 each to round out the scoring.
Reeves and Teten led Auburn by pulling down 6 rebounds apiece. Binder, Golladay and Grant each had 4 boards. Meg Rieschick had 2 rebounds.
Reeves had 2 steals. Rieschick dished out an assist. Teten blocked 1 Malcolm shot.
