Auburn Offense Improving Despite Winless Start in First Four Outings

AUBURN CHEERLEADERS sported Christmas sweaters on the sideline while cheering on the Bulldogs against Elmwood- Murdock.

The Bulldog girls are still searching for their first win of the season through four games, but the offense is trending upward, increasing their scoring output in every game this season. After failing to break 20 points in either of their first two games, the Bulldogs scored 21 points against Elmwood-Murdock on Friday evening and 25 against Plattsmouth the next day. Still, it wasn’t enough to keep pace with the Knights or Blue Devils as the Bulldogs fell in both games.

Elmwood-Murdock Game Auburn hung with the Knights through most of the first half, putting up ten points in the first quarter to trail 13-10 after one. A seven point second quarter for the Bulldogs had them trailing 25-17 at the halftime break.

Addie Darnell and Ella Swanson had six points apiece to pace the Bulldogs.
