New Auburn City Councilman Johnny Curttright Takes Oath of Office, Annual Appointments Made During December Meeting

Along with Councilmen Rick Janssen and Tom Clark, Johnny Curttright took the oath of office at the Monday, December 9 Auburn City Council meeting, taking his seat as the newest member of the council.

City Clerk/Treasurer Sherry Heskett read the official results three city council wards in the general election, then read the oath for the elected councilmen. With 302 votes, Curttright won the election for Ward three councilman, the position that was held by Jeff Jeanneret, who did not run for reelection.

Mayor Chris Erickson thanked Jeanneret for his years served as a council member and presented him with a plaque. Before Jeanneret removed his name plate from in front of his seat, Jeanneret thanked the members of the council.
