Wednesday, Jan. 15, the Auburn Board of Public Works (BPW) was informed of current conditions with the ongoing water emergency.
Alan Slater, water and wastewater manager, related the reservoir continues to be maintained at a full level. Levels in a couple of wells have risen and levels in a couple of others have dropped. Consumption has been fluctuating and the utility is fortunate it is occurring at this time of the year. Hopefully there will be sufficient spring precipitation, Slater noted.
