In the reorganization meeting Monday night, Jan. 13, Auburn Public Schools (APS) Board of Education members elected Laura Osborne 2025 president. She served as board vice president in 2024.

Beth Kernes-Krause was selected vice president. She was board secretary last year. Ryan Jones, who served as board president in 2024, was chosen treasurer. Eli Davidson, newly elected to the board, was named treasurer. All were elected unanimously without opposition.

Kellie Fogarty of Auburn State Bank was appointed ex officio to act in place of the treasurer when the treasurer is unable to promptly act on school issues. Legislative action requires a school board to have a board member as treasurer and an ex officio.
