Auburn Girls Claim ECNC Meet; Finish Second at Raymond Central
WORKING FOR CONTROL against her Lincoln Standing Bear opponent is Mia Gerdes. Despite a taped-up hand, Gerdes went on to win all three of her matches, scoring 20 points for the Bulldogs at the conference meet.

The Auburn girls wrestling team outscored Omaha Benson to win the Eastern Central Nebraska Conference Invitational by a point and-ahalf on Tuesday, January 28 in Auburn. The next highest-scoring ECNC team at the tournament was Palmyra, who scored 79 points for third place.

Hailey Henry, Addie Henry, Tayla Jones, Mia Gerdes, and Lucia Campbell all placed first in their weight divisions on Tuesday.

Hadley Mazzulla and Gretchen Paschal both won their divisions on Friday to finish second at the Raymond Central Invite.
