Several Nemaha County individuals were reappointed by the county commissioners Wednesday, Feb. 12.
They are: Renee Critser, emergency management director; Jeff Rowell, flood plain administrator; Jim Reed, veterans service officer and Gene Mace, assistant veterans service officer, Applicants are being sought for county weed superintendent. A letter supporting Blue Rivers Area Agency on Aging services in 20252026 was signed. The semi-annual report on vacation, compensatory time and sick leave owed to county employees as of Saturday, Feb. 1 was accepted.
Air quality tests at the Health and Human Services building have been completed. The county is purchasing a 2019 John Deere tractor loadcr from AKRS Equipment Solutions which has been leased.
