The Auburn soccer team fell to 0-1 on the season following their first game against Lexington on Thursday, March 20 in Auburn.
The Bulldogs held off the Lexington attack early on in the first half, but the Minutemen put a goal on the board with less than 27 minutes to play in the first period. Lexington would net another goal late in the first to go ahead 2-0 entering the second half.
Lexington continued to exploit the Auburn defense in the second half, scoring four more goals to put the Bulldogs at a six goal deficit.
