A-1 CELLULAR OWNER Kimberly Buchmeier (LEFT) stands with soon-to-be Store Manager Lauren Vinson. Both women are very excited for the transition following the official acquisition of the store by Atlantic Wireless Communications on April 1.

Press release: A-1 Cellular, authorized UScellular Agent, announces that their store has been acquired by Atlantic Wireless Communications, authorized UScellular Agent, effective April 1st. We are also happy to announce the Promotion of Lauren Vinson to Store Manager.

Lauren has been the Assistant Manager at A-1 Cellular for 10 years and has been an integral part of the success of the business. Lauren is excited to continue to work with her customers and the surrounding communities and is committed to building upon the strong foundation established at A-1 Cellular. “I look forward to working with the Atlantic Wireless team to achieve our shared goals and make this a seamless transition for our customers.” Atlantic Wireless is equally excited about the acquisition and the appointment of Lauren Vinson to Store Manager. Kimberly Buchmeier, owner and operator of A-1 Cellular, will be retiring after 18 years as an authorized agent for UScellular.

“Atlantic Wireless’s commitment to our customers and their deep understanding of our business makes them the perfect choice for me to sell my business to. I know the store is in excellent hands with Lauren as she takes on the role of Store Manager.” Aside from the Vinson’s promotion and Buchmeier’s retirement, there are very few changes expected to be made. “Signage and prices will all remain the same and we’re hoping f or a really seamless transition.”
