Grady Behrends shot a 76 through nine holes at Auburn Country Club on Monday, March 31 to lead the Eagles to a team title at the Auburn boys golf invitational. Eagles Tate Hawley and Brody Koehler took the fifth and sixth place spots to round out Johnson- Brock’s top ten finishers.

The only golfer on the course to beat Behrends was Auburn’s Hudson Emshoff, who shot a meet-best 71 to claim the individual title for the second place Bulldogs. Auburn also had three golfers in the top ten with Preston Crawford in fourth and Kaleb Dammast in eight. Every shot counted for the Bulldogs as Auburn topped third place Johnson County Central by a single stroke. The final two team spots were taken by Rock Port, MO and Falls City.
