Abby Stukenholtz was awarded the Home Based Services Regional Director of Nursing Champion Ever Forward Award on March 17. The phrase “Ever Forward” was used by Good Samaritan’s founder, Rev. August Hoeger, to capture his faith in God and his optimism and motivation for what lay ahead. To this day we use the phrase to celebrate employees who demonstrate Good Samaritan’s mission, vision and values. Ever Forward is a framework for helping all employees understand how to approach their work and their interactions with others at work. This framework is an important piece of the culture of our organization.
Abby was nominated for the joy and enthusiasm she radiates. She exhibits nothing short of extraordinary care for her team and our home health clients. Her thorough communication and follow-through is what makes working with her so easy. She consistently has a positive attitude which is portrayed in her co-workers and clients. She has courage to stand up for her beliefs and doesn’t let anyone deter her from them. Abby is the definition of a team player with her kindness, hard work and deep faith.
