Letters To the Editor Policy

The Auburn Newspapers welcomes letters to the editor on topics. All letters, including those sent via e-mail, must be signed and include the writer’s full address and telephone number for verification of authorship.

Photocopied letters and form letters will not be published. If letters published are found to be form letters, the writer(s) will no longer be allowed to submit letters for publication.

The Auburn Newspapers reserves the right to limit letters to 400 words or less, shorten letters, edit out factual errors and to not publish letters which are believed to be libelous, in poor taste or of a personal nature not deemed fit for publication. The deadline for letters is noon on Friday.
