Two Quick Second Half Goals Give Beatrice the Win over Auburn

Beatrice outscored the Auburn soccer team 3-0 in the second half of the Thursday, April 4 game in at Auburn High School to hand the Bulldogs their fifth loss of the season.

Auburn kept the Lady Orange quiet in the first half with the help of a strong wind at their backs, but were unable to gain an advantage by halftime.

Beatrice scored the fist goal of the game in the 58th minute, slicing though the middle of the Bulldog defense to take a 1-0 lead. Auburn regrouped defensively following the goal, but couldn’t move the ball upfield into scoring territory.
