Gov. Jim Pillen has recognized the 50-year anniversary of hunter education in Nebraska in 2024.
Hunter education courses have been conducted in Auburn once or twice annually in recent years.
The proclamation ceremony at the State Capitol was attended by Tim McCoy, Nebraska Game and Parks Commission director, and several current and former program coordinators and instructors.
