Six individuals seeking election or re-election spoke to Nemaha County Republicans at their Saturday, April 6 convention at the Auburn Senior Center.
Bob Hallstrom, District 1 Legislature: The Syracuse resident acknowledged he has been working in and around the Legislature 40 years. He called property taxes, rural economic development, affordable and accessible child care and adequate education funding the issues in the 2024 election. Hallstrom thanked all attending for being engaged and involved in the political process.
“I intend to make a difference and be a leader from Day One. I want to meet people, earn your trust and gain your vote,” he concluded.
