With the Tuesday, May 14 primary election coming up and the increasing popularity of early voting in Nebraska, the Nemaha County Herald staff is seeking candidate profiles for the Republican nomination for District 2 commissioner. Voters are able to request an early voting ballot be mailed to them or vote in person at the Nemaha County Clerk’s office before the primary. The election office began mailing out early voting ballots Monday, April 8. Monday, April 15 is the first day to vote in person at the Nemaha County Clerk’s office.
