Student-athletes on the Auburn and Johnson-Brock High School basketball teams were saluted for their 2023-2024 play by the sports staffs of the Omaha World-Herald and the Lincoln Journal Star.
All were recognized by both daily newspapers. The selections are based on coaches’ nominations and observations of the sports staffs.
Auburn, Class C-1 Boys: Senior Maverick Binder was named to the first team and junior Nixon Ligouri was honored on the second team. Maverick Binder was honorable mention in 2021, first team in 2022 and second team in 2023. Achieving honorable mention were senior Payton Boden, junior Cameron Leslie and sophomore Brenton Wenzl.
