Wednesday, April 17, the Auburn Board of Public Works (BPW) approved re-offering an agreement with Brownville village officials which was presented earlier this year.
The accordance covers water and wastewater billing, meter reading and utility collection services. It had been approved by the board Wednesday, Jan. 17 but was rescinded Wednesday, Feb. 21.
The utility board has requested Brownville representatives sign the arrangement first. The board will sign the pact upon its return to the utility. The deal will be effective Wednesday, June 26, when the existing services terminate. It includes a 90-day termination notice.
