Project ROAR Naming Areas Approved By NSCS Trustees

The Nebraska State College System (NSCS) Trustees Thursday afternoon, April 18, allowed naming various areas in the Project Renewal Opportunities for Activity and Recreation (ROAR) indoor recreation complex at Peru State College (PSC).

The designations honor donors who have provided substantial financial gifts totaling $473,000 and service to the college.

The areas are: Butch and Dobey Haws Softball Field; Douglas Family Multipurpose Court in the Recreation Dome; Auburn State Bank Multipurpose Court in the Recreation Dome; John Gibbs Basketball Court in the Al Wheeler Activity Center; Abel Foundation Coach’s Office and Abel Foundation Men’s Auxiliary Locker Room, both in the Diamond Building; Bridges Trust Women’s Auxiliary Locker Room and Equipment Room, both in the Diamond Building; Table Rock Bank Tunnel from the Diamond Building to the Diamond Dome; Henzel Family Tunnel from Support Building to the Recreation Dome; Rich Daly Storage Room in the Diamond Building; Brenda G. Lutz Locker in the Diamond Building; Bruce Smith Locker in the Recreation Support Building; Al Urwin and Family Lockers, 10 in the Recreation Support Building and the Richard, Carolyn and Barbara Evans Locker in Recreation Support Building.
