After wins early in the week against Fairbury and Rock Port, MO, the Bulldogs had finished a streak of six victories in seven games. Omaha Bryan would best the Bulldogs to end the week, but a strong showing the past two weeks by the Auburn baseball team has turned their season around from a 2-8 record early in April to 8-10 as of the start of this week.

After seven innings of play, the Bulldogs and Jeffs were all tied up at six runs apiece, but a neck-and-neck competition ended without any doubt as Auburn piled on eight runs in the extra inning to drop Fairbury by a score of 14-6.
