Auburn Gets Silver at JCC; Districts at Woodland Hills on May 13

The Bulldog boys golf team placed second in their final meet before district play begins. With a team score of 335, Auburn finished runner up at the JCC Invite in Tecumseh on Thursday, May 2.

Host and meet winner JCC had four of the top five individual golfers including the top three finishers. Only Auburn’s Maverick Binder was able to split the Thunderbirds’ top four with a fourth place finish after shooting an 81. Binder was one of four Bulldog golfers to finish in the top 10 along with Kaleb Dammast, Kaden McLaughlin, and Hudson Emshoff.

The Bulldogs will compete with 11 other schools in the district B-1 meet at Woodland Hills Golf Course near Eagle on Monday, May 13. Golfers will begin to tee off at 9 a.m.
