Student-instrumentalists from Auburn and seven other high schools performed Monday night, May 6 in the East Central Nebraska Conference honor band. It climaxed a day-long clinic at Auburn High School.
Middle schoolers played St. Petersburg March, Eclipse, A Scottish Ballade and Junkyard Jam. Clinician and conductor was Jonathan Jaworski. He is the band director in Blair Public Schools.
“They were a great group of kids to work with. They did exactly what I asked them to do all the time. I hope the kids had a good time,” Jaworski proclaimed.
