Eagle, Lady Eagle Track & Field Teams Medal at State Meet; Beethe, Nickels Add Individual Hardware
During the 2024 NSAA State Track and Field Championships, 12 Johnson-Brock athletes were among the top class D performers in the state at Omaha Burke High School over the weekend. The Eagles and Lady Eagles brought home five total medals, including two top five individual finishes by sophomore Rylie Beethe and another fifth place medal by the Lady Eagle 1600 meter relay team.
The Lady Eagles tied for 19th in Class D with 14 team points along with Maywood-Hayes Center. The Eagle boys finished tied for 43rd with two team points for their seventh place finish in the 400 meter relay.
