Auburn’s Hudson Emshoff and Maverick Binder represented the Bulldog boys golf team at the 2024 NSAA State Golf Championships in Scottsbluff on Tuesday, May 21 and Wednesday, May 22.
Binder out-golfed his teammate, Emshoff, on the first day shooting a 93 compared to a first day score of 97 for the junior. Emshoff came back on Wednesday to shoot a 95 to finish with 48 over par for a final score of 192. Binder dipped a bit the second day, coming in with a score of 97 to finish 46 over par at 190 to close out his high school athletics career.
Binder finished 73rd in the pack of 77 golfers, just ahead of Emshoff in 74th. In Class B, Norris took home the team title with a score of 630. Scottsbluff came in second with 636, followed by the bronze-finishing York with 640.
