Suicide prevention is the top priority of the Veterans Administration (VA), Jennifer Hagen told those attending training in Auburn.
Hagen, vice president of the Nebraska State Suicide Prevention Coalition and Jill Kuzelka conducted instruction at Educational Service Unit 4. Kuzelka is VetSet coordinator with Public Health Solutions, which serves five Southeast Nebraska counties.
Hagen continued suicide is the most preventable cause of death and almost any positive action may save a life.
