To say Jaeleigh Darnell’s two years at Hutchinson Community College was impactful would be an understatement.
Darnell, a 2022 Auburn High School graduate helped the Blue Dragon softball team to a pair of historic seasons. It culminated in Hutchinson’s first appearance in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Softball World Series in May.
During her career at Hutchinson, Darnell’s teams set records for wins in a season with 44 in 2023 and 47 in 2024. Darnell’s teams posted a combined record of 95-20, the most victories in any twoyear span in program history.
