A Thursday night rain broke up the sweltering temperatures from earlier in the week and set up a cool, wet course for the Auburn cross country invite on the morning of Friday, August 30.
Experienced Auburn cross country runners Cuyler Aue and Liston Crotty both came in fourth place for their respective squads at the Auburn Country Club on Friday. The next five Auburn girls finished within the top 15 to make the Bulldog girls the winners of their home meet. The boys had five finishers in the 20s, earning them fourth place in the meet.
The freshmen on both the Auburn boys and girls teams made an immediate impact in their first varsity competitions. Nash Crotty was Auburn’s second-finishing boy, coming in at
