The Bulldogs were bested by Class A Omaha Westview in their only game of the past week by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday night in Auburn.
After nine straight games scoring in the double digits, the Bulldog offense was finally shut down by Westview on Tuesday, scoring only a single run in the loss.
While the Bulldogs suffered their fifth loss of the season Tuesday night, the Auburn softball program still has a lot to be optimistic about. Entering the season unranked, the Bulldogs have proved to be a contender in Class C, earning a top 10 rating.
