With the Tuesday, Nov. 5 general election coming up and the increasing popularity of early voting in Nebraska, the Nemaha County Herald staff is seeking candidate profiles for contested races in Nemaha County.
Voters are able to request an early voting ballot be mailed to them or vote in person at the Nemaha County Clerk’s office before the primary. The election office began mailing out early voting ballots Monday, Sept. 30. Monday, Oct. 7 is the first day to vote in person at the Nemaha County Clerk’s office.
Note: Tom Clark in Ward 1 and Rick Janssen in Ward 2 are both unopposed.
