Volunteers of the Southeast Nebraska Cancer Memorial Garden were conferred the 2024 Outstanding Community Conservation award by the Nebraska Association of Resources Districts (NARD).
The honor was presented at the NARD conference in Kearney. Nemaha Natural Resources District (NNRD) representatives nominated the volunteers.
The garden is at the northwest entrance of Humboldt City Lake Park.
