The Johnson-Brock football team suffered their second loss of the season to Lourdes Central Catholic by a score of 34-24 in Nebraska City on Friday, October 18.
Without leading rusher Hayden Gravatt, who went out with an injury against Freeman two weeks ago, the Eagle ground was missing the explosive edge they had displayed all season.
The Eagles did have an advantage in the passing game as quarterback Wyatt Fulton compled 9 passes on 16 attemptsfor 127 yards and one touchdown through the air. Austin Meyer used his 6’5” frame to grab his only reception of the night, which went 39 yards for a second quarter touchdown, which gave the Eagles a brief 8-6 lead in the first half. Lourdes Central Catholic would lead 14-8 at halftime.
