With subdistricts starting next week, the Bulldog volleyball team gained a bit of momentum entering the postseason with a win over Plattsmouth in straight sets at home on Tuesday, October 21.
Heidi Gerdes had a match-high 8 kills with Ella Swanson adding seven more to Auburn’s total.
Plattsmouth rallied after a 25-11 loss in the first set to make the second set competitive, but Auburn outlasted the Blue Devils to go ahead two sets to none before another convincing set for the Bulldogs in the third to take the match in straight sets.
