The Eagles came up one touchdown short in their home playoff game against Thayer Central on Thursday, October 24, putting an end to the Eagles’ season after a 36-30 loss to the Titans.
After a quarter of play, Thayer Central had taken control of the game with two touchdowns and both two-point conversions to lead 16-0 entering the second quarter, but the Eagles battled back, matching Thayer Central at 16 apiece by halftime.
In the third quarter, Johnson-Brock scored their third straight touchdown to pull ahead 24-16. This time it was Thayer Central’s turn to respond and they did, breaking free for three straight rushing touchdowns to gain a 36-24 advantage in the fourth quarter.
