Bulldog Girls Bring Home Cross Country Gold

THE AUBURN CROSS COUNTRY GIRLS team is bringing gold back to Nemaha County after winning the Class C Girls State Cross Country Championship at the University of Nebraska-Kearney on Friday, October 25. Pictured on the podium with their state medals and championship trophy are Coach Mark Oliver, Liston Crotty, Kristen Billings, Coach Carrie Jeanneret, Alivia Thomas, Lilyan Becker, Hadley Mazzulla, and Coach Holly Rieschick. Junior Liston Crotty finished 5th amongst the field with freshman Olivia Crotty just behind her in sixth place to lead Auburn to the state title after two consecutive silver medals.
