The Johnson-Brock girls basketball team returns five of their top six scorers, including four starters from a team that went 21-3 last season. Earning a #4 seed in the district final last season, an four-overtime upset in Johnson by #12 Bancroft-Rosalie kept the Lady Eagles from a repeat trip to the Class D1 state basketball tournament in 2024.

With the Lady Eagles jumping a classification, first year coach Jeff Ottemann will seek to lead the team back to the Class C2 state tournament for the first time since a runner-up finish in 1994.

Back with a vengeance, Seniors Brooklyn Behrends, Brooklyn Buchmeier, Chloe Vice, and Taryn Ottemann are expected to reprise starting roles.
