CASSANDRA JADE WILLIAMS
Cassandra Jade Williams passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born on October 8, 2013, in Lincoln, Nebraska to Cody and Kelly (Owens) Williams. Cassandra lived in Lincoln, Nebraska before moving to St. Joseph, Missouri where she attended Pickett elementary school through the 4th grade. Cassandra enjoyed animals, especially cats and dogs. She loved playing with bubbles, and loved all Disney movies and music, especially anything to do with the movie Frozen. Cassandra will deeply be missed by all who knew and loved her, and will be remembered by her smile and infectious laughter that touched those around her.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Ernest Owens, paternal great-grandfather Ilert Rockemann, and many other family members.
Cassandra is survived by her parents Cody and Kelly (Owens) Williams of St. Joseph, MO; her brother Ares Williams of St. Joseph, MO; grandparents: Pamela Johnson and husband Richard of St. Joseph, MO; Patricia Burns and husband Jimmy of Nebraska City, NE; aunts: Raeleen Owens of St. Joseph, MO; Amber Rockemann of Auburn, NE; Brittany Rockemann of Nebraska City, NE; Amanda Williams of New York City, NY; uncles: Charles Owens of St. Joseph, MO; Jonathan Owens of St. Joseph, MO; Keith Williams and his wife Darcy of Auburn, NE; Mick Vogt of Yankton, SD; and many other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Cassandra’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Hall Funeral Chapel, 707 15th street in Auburn, Nebraska with Dorothy Smith officiating.
Family will greet friends at visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Hall Funeral Chapel, prior to services.
Interment will be at the Sheridan West Cemetery in Auburn, Nebraska.
Memorials contributions are suggested to the family’s choice with a later designation.
