NANCY ANN (MOSER) REEVES

1941 - 2025

Nancy Ann (Moser) Reeves, 83, of Nebraska City passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at her home. She was born on November 22, 1941, in Humboldt, Nebraska to Alfred and Kathleen (Hern) Moser. Nancy spent her childhood traveling with her family to different states across the country. She and her brother Richard eventually moved to Auburn, Nebraska to live with their grandparents. Nancy graduated from Auburn High School with the class of 1960 and worked for Ratcliff Abstract in Auburn while in high school.

On October 13, 1961, Nancy was united in marriage to Jerry Dean Reeves in Kansas. To this union three children, Diana, Wade, and Lisa were born. Nancy was employed at Peru State College for over thirty years. While at Peru State, she worked in Human Resources, Financing, and other departments before retiring. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed cooking, antiques, spending time with her grandchildren, and animals, especially her favorite dog “sparky”. She truly loved the special times spending time with her family and cooking for them over the years.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of over 63 years Jerry Reeves of Nebraska City, daughters: Diana Reeves of Nebraska City, Lisa Reeves of Bellevue, NE; grandchildren: Derek Harms and wife Tiffany of Peru, NE; Regan Moran and husband Chris of Nebraska City, Tyson Reeves and wife Lauren of Millard, NE; Jadyn Reeves of Council Bluffs, IA; Alise Reeves-Youlio and husband Jonathan of Florida, 6 great-grandchildren, special cousin Audrey Wikle and husband Darrell of Wichita, KS; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Wade Reeves, and her brother Richard Moser.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at the Hall Funeral Chapel, 707 15th street in Auburn, Nebraska with Pastor Jackie Gfeller officiating. Interment will immediately follow services at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Peru, Nebraska.

Visitation will be held from noon-8 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Chapel, 707 15th street in Auburn. Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
